On the occasion of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav', BSF conducted a plantation drive at its headquarters in Dhubri from 4th August to 6th August. 

The plantation drive was launched at BSF Panbari campus, Dhubri in presence of Sh Ram Salat Ram, DIG, Sector Headquarter BSF Dhubri along with its officers, subordinate officers and Jawans. Saplings of various fruit-bearing and other trees were planted. 

During the ongoing plantation drive, BSF Guwahati frontier has fixed a target to plant seventy thousand saplings of various trees. Border Security Force is committed to safeguarding the international borders as well as protecting the environment.
