Under Universal Acceptance Clause, e-mail addresses, and website addresses will now be available in regional languages. 

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) has taken the initiative for this and initially addresses of 50 government websites will be made available in the regional language from 28th March..

Universal Acceptance Day is celebrated on 28th March. At present emails, and website addresses on the Internet are only in English.  

The domain ‘dot Bharat’ has been registered. Initially, 50 government websites will be addressed in the regional language. After that, other languages will be considered in a phased manner.
