Liquor shops will remain closed in the capital Bhopal on the day of Holi and Rangpanchami. Collector Bhopal Kaushalendra Vikram Singh has declared March 25 and March 30 as dry days in the district. Bhang and Bhangghota shops will remain open on this day.
Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, keeping in view the law and order situation of Bhopal district, has issued lockdown measures for the entire Bhopal district for a period till 5 pm on 25 March on Holi (the day Rang will be played) and till 5 pm on 30 March on the occasion of Rang Panchami. It has been declared a dry day.
According to the order issued, all the composite liquor shops/units of the district (F.L.-2, F.L.-3, F.L.-4, F.L-4) except Bhang and Bhangghota shops, will be closed on dry day/period. 6, FL-7, FL-10, 10A, wine outlets and retail and wholesale shops selling all types of intoxicants will remain closed and domestic and foreign liquor stores will remain closed.
