The Department of School Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has ordered that Government and Government-aided Schools must organize and conduct NEET (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test to pursue MBBS & BDS Courses) for their students of the 12th Standard (+2).

Arrangements have been made to provide breakfast, lunch, and evening tea to the students attending the NEET coaching classes.

The students attending the coaching classes for NEET in the Government and Government-aided Schools will be given the bus fare charges for attending these special NEET coaching classes. The students who had already applied and attended the coaching conducted by the schools MUST apply for these NEET special coaching classes. This MUST be confirmed by the teachers of the respective schools.

The NEET coaching classes MUST be conducted after the conclusion of the +2 (12th Standard) Public Examinations from the 22nd of March until the 21st of May and the concerned model examinations.

A minimum of at least 2 NEET coaching classes must be conducted for each education district. The number of coaching centres may be increased based on 40 students per coaching class.

The schools which have the facility of Internet as well as smart classes MUST be selected as coaching centres. The coaching classes and the examinations may be conducted in either English or Tamil.

The NEET Coaching Centres will function from 9:15 AM until 4:30 PM ON EVERY SATURDAY. Revision tests MUST be conducted at the end of the coaching.
