The 12309 Rajendranagar-New Delhi Tejas Rajdhani Express was the first to leave at 8 pm on Monday night after the operation of trains in Central Railway was stopped for three days due to the Agneepath movement. Soon after that Sampoorna Kranti Express also opened for New Delhi at 8.15 hrs on 21st June.

Then 13201 Patna-LTTE Express also left from Patna Junction at 11.55 pm. The operation of long distance mail-express trains will also start from Tuesday evening. But, it may take three-four days for all the trains to return to normal. Along with this, efforts are on to restore the operation of MEMU-DEMU passenger trains at the earliest. Meanwhile, on Monday, a total of 348 trains were cancelled in East Central Railway, while 12 trains were rescheduled.
