South Western Railway will be operating special train in Bengaluru-Trichy-Bengaluru section to clear extra rush of passengers during the Pongal festival on Friday and Saturday.

Train No. 06577 SMVT Bengaluru – Trichy Pongal special will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 2.30pm on January 12 (Friday) and reach Trichy at 11.30pm the same day.

Train No. 06578 Trichy – SMVT Bengaluru Pongal special will leave Trichy at 4.45am on January 13 (Saturday) and reach SMVT Bengaluru at 12pm the same day.
