Traffic authorities on Monday allowed only one-way traffic on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.

An official said that the traffic movement had been stopped on the Srinagar-Jammu highway due to incessant rains, landslides, mudslides and shooting stone in Cafeteria Morh Ramban and other areas along the highway.

However it was restored after strenuous efforts put up by officials of Beacon, Traffic Department and other concerned agencies.

Traffic is plying normally on Jammu-Srinagar highway from Jammu towards Srinagar. Commuters are advised to follow the lane discipline as overtaking can lead congestion.
