As the weekend approaches, arrangements have been made to operate 500 special buses from various locations, including Chennai Metro City.

Considering the upcoming weekend on Saturday, 10th February and Sunday, 11th February, which are auspicious days for weddings, it is anticipated that a large number of passengers will undertake trips from Chennai Metro City and other places on Friday, 9th February.

To accommodate this expected rush of passengers during the weekend, the State Express Transport Corporation has arranged to operate additional special buses in addition to the regular ones.

Accordingly, special buses will be operated from the Chennai Kilambakkam Mofussil Bus Terminus to Trichy, Kumbakonam, Madurai, Thirunelveli, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari, Thoothukudi, Coimbatore, Salem, Erode, and Tirupur.

Additionally, 300 special buses will be operated from the Chennai Koyambedu Mofussil Bus Terminus to Nagapattinam, Velankanni, Hosur, and Bangalore.
