Vehicular movement banned in Prayagraj for 12th February
The Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj is expecting a massive influx of devotees, especially with Maghi Purnima approaching, which has prompted authorities to impose strict traffic restrictions.
The fair area has been designated a no-vehicle zone since 4 am on Tuesday, and restrictions will extend citywide from 5 pm onwards.
To manage the crowds, devotees arriving from outside must park their vehicles in designated zones along specific routes. Emergency and essential services are exempt from these restrictions.
