The Tejas Rajdhani Express running between Agartala and Anand Vihar Terminal will divert its route of operations through Malda Town, Bhagalpur Jn., and Jamalpur Jn. via Patna Jn. w.e.f. January 15, 2024.

The newly diverted route will fulfil the long-cherished demands of a vast population from West Bengal and Bihar states that were earlier lacking the privileges to travel on Rajdhani Express trains.

With the diversion of routes, there will be changes in timing and total journey time. Train no. 20501 (Agartala-Anand Vihar Terminal) will commence its journey from Agartala on January 15 on Monday at 15:10 hours to reach its destination at Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi on Wednesday at 10:50 hours.
