The Pragati Maidan tunnel was reopened for traffic on Monday, four days after it was closed due to waterlogging after heavy rains which lashed Delhi last week. Public works department officials said the tunnel was cleaned and reopened for public use on Monday. The Pragati Maidan tunnel had been shut for public since June 28 after it was waterlogged due to extreme rains last week which brought the city to its knees.
