The Mumbai Police on Wednesday imposed traffic restrictions to ease traffic congestion in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) area. According to the police, the Central Railway Authority will demolish the old Sion railway-over bridge and construct a new overbridge. Therefore, the traffic coming from Sion railway station to Kalanagar has been diverted. Vehicular traffic on BKC road coming from BKC Connector Bridge and MTNL Junction has increased significantly. As a result, there has been a traffic jam in the BKC area.
