Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra inaugurated the campaign against anemia for all officers and employees of Lokseba Bhawan.

The campaign termed 3T (test, treat, and talk) was inaugurated, on the lawn of Lokseba Bhawan in the presence of the Secretary of Women and Child Development Subha Sharma and other senior officers.

Anemia is a health concern across various social categories. One of the reasons for the prevalence of anemia might be the undiagnosed and ignored symptoms.

Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra directed the departments of women & child development and health & family welfare to intensify hemoglobin testing and counseling throughout the State. Mahapatra advised all officers and employees of Lokseba Bhawan to get themselves tested and take necessary medicines in the interest of their health.

The six stalls for testing of anemic level with awareness materials were set up on the lawn of the Lokseba Bhawan. The stalls would operate from 11 AM to 4.30 PM daily from November 28 to December 2.
