It has been announced that the PayTM FASTag will not be valid starting today, Friday, March 15th, and users have been advised to switch to other banks.

Most citizens have been using the PayTM FASTag facility to pay tollgate charges nationwide.

In this scenario, the National Highways Council has emphasized that users of the PayTM FASTag facility must switch to other banks before March 15th. PayTM has failed to comply with the rules and regulations set by the Reserve Bank of India, rendering the PayTM FASTag facility unusable from today. Recharging or topping up will no longer be possible.

As a result, current users of the PayTM FASTag may face hardships, particularly vehicle owners/drivers who rely on this facility. The National Highway Council has initiated this action to ensure travelers using the National Highways experience a trouble-free journey.
