To facilitate metro construction works, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has announced the partial closure of Bannerghatta Road near the Lakkasandra underground station. 

A release from BMRCL states that to construct the south side entry structure of the station, northbound traffic on Bannerghatta Main Road from the MICO signal up to the Anepalya junction will be closed for a period of one year starting from April 1.
