The Tamil Nadu State Transport Department will operate 1,515 special buses in addition to the regular services from Friday to Saturday to manage the weekend rush and the Milad-un-Nabi holiday on Tuesday (September 17). 

This includes 955 buses from the Kalaignar Centenary Bus Terminus (KCBT) in Chennai to Madurai, Tiruchy, Coimbatore, Salem, and Tirunelveli. 

Additionally, 190 buses will depart from Koyambedu and 20 from Madhavaram to Tiruvannamalai, Nagapattinam, Velankanni, Hosur, and Bengaluru. Extra services will also operate from Coimbatore, Tirupur, and Erode. Return buses will be available from Sunday to Tuesday. Tickets can be booked via www.tnstc.in or the TNSTC app.
