Flights will start from Aligarh Airport from 2nd March
The eight-year long wait for Aligarh Airport to become operational is coming to an end. Flight service will start from the airport on March 2.
It will start with Aligarh to Lucknow airline service. In the first phase, air services will be available from Aligarh to five cities including Azamgarh, Moradabad, Chitrakoot and Shravasti. In the second phase, there will be movement of big aircraft from here.
The inauguration of Aligarh Airport will be grand. Many public representatives, police and administrative officers including MPs, MLAs, MLCs will participate in this.
