The Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) has announced that starting from June 21st, senior citizens in Chennai will receive tokens for free bus travel. 

To facilitate this, arrangements have been made to issue ID cards at 42 workshops and bus stands across the city. From July 21st to July 30th, tokens will be available at all 42 locations from 8 AM to 7:30 PM.

Senior citizens can obtain their ID cards by submitting proof of residence along with their Aadhaar card, voter ID, driving license, or education certificate, and two color photographs.
