The National Highways Authority has announced toll hikes at five toll booths in Tamil Nadu, effective from April 1.

The toll rates have been increased at the following locations:

1. Trichy Kallakudy
2. Ariyalur Managethi
3. Vellore Vallam
4. Thiruvannamalai Umagarianthal
5. Villupuram Thennamadevi

For one-way and one-day return trips, toll charges have been raised from Rs 5 to Rs 20. Additionally, monthly toll fees have been increased from Rs 100 to Rs 400.
