Southern Railway cancelled Suburban Train Service for Commuters
Southern Railway has issued a notice regarding the cancellation of 44 suburban train services scheduled for 18th February.
Among the affected routes is the Chennai Beach to Tambaram line, which will experience a suspension lasting 4 hours and 15 minutes. Maintenance activities are slated to take place between Kodambakkam and Tambaram, occurring from 11 am to 3:15 pm.
In response to these cancellations, Southern Railway has arranged for special trains to operate between Tambaram and Chengalpattu, ensuring continued connectivity for commuters. This adjustment aims to mitigate inconvenience and maintain essential transportation services during the maintenance period.
