Southern Railway to run new EMU Services and extensions in Chennai
Southern Railway has announced the launch of three new EMU train services in Chennai starting Monday, along with the extension of five existing services.
Timings for 19 suburban trains on the Chennai Beach-Moore Market Complex to Arakkonam section and eight trains on the Moore Market Complex to Gummidipundi-Sullurupeta section will be revised.
The new services include:
• Avadi to Moore Market Complex at 9:50 am
• Moore Market Complex to Tiruvallur at 10:40 am
• Tiruvallur to Moore Market Complex at 3:50 pm
Additionally, the Moore Market Complex-Gummidipundi service at 12:10 pm will be extended to Sullurupeta, and the Guduvancheri-Tambaram services will now extend to Chennai Beach.
