Starting September 1, toll fees at 25 National Highway toll plazas across Tamil Nadu will rise by Rs 5 to Rs 150, depending on the vehicle type.

This increase, mandated by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), follows annual adjustments based on the wholesale price index under the National Highways Fee Rules, 2008.

The fee revision affects 25 plazas annually on September 1, with the remaining 42 plazas adjusted on April 1. The hike, expected to be around 5-7%, will impact all vehicle categories.
