India’s premier airline, Air India on Friday announced that it will deploy Airbus A350-900 aircraft on the Delhi-London Heathrow route starting from September 1. 

The airline will operate two flights everyday on the route.

The A350-900 will replace the current Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner on 14 of 17 weekly flights. The replacement will provide an additional 336 seats on the Delhi-London Heathrow route each week, the company said in a press release.
