To enhance the convenience of air travel, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has launched a check-in facility for international flights at two pivotal metro stations in the national capital – New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium on the Airport Express Line.

In a statement on Wednesday, July 17, DMRC announced that this service, initiated in the first week of June, is designed to streamline travel procedures for passengers departing from Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) in New Delhi.

Previously, the 'Check-in & Baggage-Drop' service was limited for domestic flights only. Now, passengers flying internationally with Air India and Vistara Airlines can also take advantage of the convenience. Reportedly, DMRC has invited more airlines to adopt the service to offer additional benefits to travellers.
