The BEST will run its first bus on the coastal road from Friday morning.

The AC bus will operate from NCPA (Nariman Point) to Byculla station (West) via Coastal Road, a senior official announced on Thursday evening.

The bus, on route number A-78, will have its first journey commencing on Friday. The route will be from NCPA to Hotel Trident and along the Marine Drive before taking a diversion to Coastal Road which will take the bus under the tunnel and on a freeway route to Haji Ali junction - Race Course - Mahalaxmi railway station - Jacob Circle (Saat Rasta) and end at Byculla railway station West stop.
